Designing Your Life Before You Set Your Goals

Are you designing your life? Do you understand what that means? Are you creating the lifestyle that you envisioned years ago. The problem with goal setting is you are taught to write down what you want and go after it. We are goal achieving mechanisms by birth and it is natural to strive for better things. Where most people fail is that their goals do not line up with their values.

When you join a new affiliate program, network marketing company, or any business opportunity the company always tells you to set your income goals. They go further and tell you to find your reason "Why". Your "Why" could be to quit your job, get out of debt, or become a millionaire.

9 out of 10 people never hit their income goals. Money is a poor motivator. When roadblocks, considerations, and fears pop up people jump ship. It's easier to complain, go back to work, or hop on the next shiny object. Even your "Why" loses its power to push you to succeed. The problem lies with not designing your life. The key is to create a lifestyle you want to live. Then set goals to achieve that lifestyle.

It takes time to design the life you want to create. It is based on your values and it brings clarity. Writing it out and following a proven system is the key. Success leaves clues and finding people who have the lifestyle you want to lead is crucial. Musicians hang around musicians. Athletes hang around other athletes. Find successful entrepreneurs to hang around with.

Write It Out

Write down the things you want to do. Do you want to eat out every night or have a private chef? Do you want to live near the beach or mountains? Do you want to home school your kids, send them to private school, or hire tutors?

Will you travel with your favorite teams, go to concerts, or attend your industry events on a Vip ticket? How much do you want to invest, give to charities, or start a scholarship fund? How about paying cash for your kids to go to college, becoming debt free, or owning multiple homes?

Writing it down and getting out of your head gets you clear on what you need to do. Your income goals might have changed. Most people do their goal setting backwards by building their business first then trying to fit their life into their business. Often this puts you out of balance and your personal life starts to suffer. Designing your life will help bring balance.

Two Friends

Once you figure out your life plan you will know how much money you need to achieve it. You have an idea of what education or training it would require. This is where you pick the right business and not the new shiny object. This is the chance for you to work in your passion. To find a business where you will have the best chance to succeed.

Designing your life keeps you from making the wrong decisions. When you start a new business the focus is always on the money. You go for promotions on the job for the money. People choose money and start businesses or take positions where they can't be their best. They don't work in their strengths.

For example, I have two friends. One works on average 60-80 hours per week to make $80,000 per year. He has to trade his time for dollars and he rarely takes vacations. He has to keep working to maintain that income but it takes time away from his family. He is focusing on the money.

My other friend was in the same situation. But he took my advice on designing his life instead. He was working the same amount of hours but wanted to spend time with his wife and be home when his kids were home. This was two years ago. He decided to start a side business with his wife. He wanted to take more vacations and eat dinner with his kids.

Two years later his side business is thriving. He gets to work with his wife and he is home every night with his kids. They travel more and he rarely works overtime. He said it was tough the first year but now it was worth it.

My other friend did not listen to me. He is still putting in 60 to 80 hours per week. He complains about working all the time. But he is making the money he wants to make. It is costing him quality time with his family and it shows. This is an example why you need to design your life first.

Start Designing Now

There are plenty of books that can help you with the process of creating your life plan. Go big and be audacious. Take a couple of days to do this. Involve your spouse, partner, and kids. Your friends can play a big part to. When my business expanded I had the perfect position for one of my close friends. She is making more money and is a superstar on our team. Plus it gives her time to pursue her dreams.

Get excited. Cut out pictures, create a vision board, make a game of it. It's the rest of your life so make it fun. Your current status doesn't matter. If you don't design it nothing will happen. Create your path now and take that journey.

Passion

Passion is your fuel. It motivates you to press on. It propels you up the mountain of your dreams and goals. Have a passion for life, for people, for animals, for your causes and your convictions, and you will be nearly unstoppable. Be a champion for those who have great needs and can't do
anything about it themselves. Speak with passion, teach with passion, lead with passion, love with passion, play with passion, and enjoy with passion.

Someone who is passionate is intriguing to watch and to listen to. They are usually energizing to be around.

They put great care into each and every detail of what they have passion for. A passionate musician plays a piece over and over until it is perfection for her and the audience. Each sound is perfectly crafted and resonates purely, hauntingly, and brilliantly. Every song on the album may not be perfect, and sometimes it misses the mark, but we recognize the passion and are moved by the story told, how it was done and perhaps why it was done. Passion draws people in, and to you. They want to be part of that passion. They want to be motivated as you are. They want to touch that passion, and embrace it. Passion lifts people up to a new level, which they can feel for themselves and from you. Passion encourages and whips new energy into people and projects. Everyone wants to feel passion for something.

When you come to roadblocks in life, your passion is what brings you beyond each and every halt. When there is passion involved, you have a need to move forward, and reach beyond every expectation towards the fulfillment of dreams and goals. If you become stopped in life, and if you have passion for life or for an aspect of your work, dig deep within yourself to find what really motivates and captivates you, and then find brand new aspects of your passion or your love that you had not seen before. You find new doors to open; you gravitate towards other passionate people. You create new paths with your passion and deep desires.

A person who does not have that passion can wallow in the low points of her life, and have great trouble finding the meaning of it. You must give meaning to your own life. You must discover the passions of your life and work. Most times, passions in your life develop slowly. You start by doing things that you enjoy doing: cooking, painting, photography, performing, etc. When you find a certain aspect that you are really enjoying, spend more time doing it. Learn about it, develop your interest and your knack for it, and find ways to become more involved with your hobby or pastime. When you start to become passionate about something, then you want to spend as much of your time as you can by being in and around it.

You want to learn everything that you can about your that aspect. You want to be with other people who have your same interests and passions. Their passion and love fuels your passion.

Remember, small things can become big dreams if you are passionate about them. Take care of the small details with the same care and regard as if it were a great big event and you will move up the
mountain with a steady sure foot.

Passionate leaders recognize passionate people, and the details of passion, and they hire and promote
passionate workers, and create openings for those people. You can be passionate about anything. And remember that anything becomes something to the right person. Small or large, if you are passionate about it, you can see huge results; your passion can take you to great places. You can make your living by doing what you love to do, if someone wants to pay you for what you love to do. If you can't find a boss that loves what you do, you can be your own boss. Start your own company if you are passionate enough about what you are doing. Either way, your passion will open a new door. Other people will become aware of your passion and your services. There are many customers out there for your services; you just have to find, target, and market to them.

That is not always easy, and sometimes it is very difficult when you are creating a new niche market. But if you can sustain yourself and grow and develop your client base you will create the flow that you want and need, to lead the life that you desire for yourself.

Many times you cannot do it on your own, and that is when your passion will lead you to a partner or a team with your same passion that can help you. Now you can do it together as a team that is as passionate for your goals as you are. You and they become stronger as you work together. Your goals may change a little bit, but the same underlying passion is still there and is being fed every day by your team. What you thought was impossible on your own has now become a possibility and you are rewarded for it. Your life, and their lives, begin to be satisfying.

It is thrilling when you begin to watch your dreams become realities, and you can all share in the victory together. Now the team has developed a reputation of excellence and passion. You will see that more creative and energetic people are drawn to the team because they like what they are seeing. Because of that, your team will be able to do more than they could before, and do more awesome projects. Your team will be able to scale impossible heights in a very short period of time, and perhaps you will reach the greatest pinnacles of success that you have ever dreamed about.

So have passion, take risks, step out in faith. Live a passionate life, and you will attract other passionate people, and you will fulfill your dreams. Tell yourself "I embrace the fullness of my life." Do it. You won't regret a minute of your life that way.

How to Make Your Goals for the New Year Stick

Any time is a good time to begin setting goals, however the New Year always feels like a fresh start for making lasting change. We all start out with good intentions, really wanting to achieve our goals but somehow we kind of lose the momentum shortly after committing to them. What is it that stops us in our tracks? If you desire to have a healthier life style, or create a business plan that will generate more revenue, travel, buy a home, or what ever goals that turn you on, you first have to become clear as to what you really want.

Clarity is the first step to manifesting any outcome. The clearer you can define exactly what you want the more it becomes programmed into your subconscious mind, Then your subconscious mind will begin to go to work looking for ways to achieve it.

Next you have to visualize the outcome. Actually engage all your senses to feel like what you want is already present. This is putting your imagination to work. Play with this and see yourself already accomplished in your goal.

After you see yourself fully engaged in your vision, focus is the next step. This is so important and where you can derail from your vision if you become distracted. We live in a day and age where we are being bombarded with so much information that we can easily lose sight of our vision if we do not stay on course and keep our eye on the goal. We must hold our vision and focus on it every day. The longer you can hold the image, the better.

Then, you must believe that it is possible for you to obtain your desired goal. Without believing in yourself, nothing can manifest. Putting the previous tools in place will keep you from losing momentum.

Next, take some action. This is the glue that will begin to cement your belief in your goal and draw it closer to you. What ever your seeking is seeking you too. You see, there is no attraction without the action. Action is a vital ingredient in the recipe for successful goals. As you move in the direction of your goal, the mere action of doing something creates a powerful force in your favor.

The universe conspires to assist you and you will begin to get a sense of synchronicity working with you. This is your intuition kicking into high gear. This is also another mental muscle like imagination that is helping guide you in the direction of your desired outcome. It can be a subtle nudge to do something, or a feeling that overcomes you, letting you know how to navigate the course ahead.

This is how to make your goals stick. It is a process, and it takes time to implement them. However the more you apply these steps to your desired goal, the faster they will create results in your favor. Any thing that you truly desire will manifest into physical form if you are vigilant with simply following this course of action. This is the creative process. So this year, why not begin with a clear vision, belief, focus, action, and intuition to make 2016 your best year yet. It works, if you work it!

Education! What does it mean? We are thinking education is a base for getting knowledge and values. To develop yourself you require education. Is that true? Yes. But there are numerous things identified with education. It's not a thing where you are getting just knowledge and values. At the point when a youngster conceived, we began considering his profession and education. Guardians dependably think how to influence our tyke to best in his profession and career. In any case, no one ponders their interest and hobbies.

Some individuals are battling with their professions. What we realize in our childhood that is essential since that preparation and information are more useful for us when we contend in this period. You will learn things yet it will require investment to accomplish. Whatever you have learned in school that is most critical to pick up your position.

In school sometimes student do not take their education seriously. They will be focusing on alternate things like TV, video games, mobile. These days, guardians have given full opportunity to their kid for everything. The outcome turned out as they don't know about things which are most critical for them. As a parent, we should show them how imperative instruction is? What will we get in the wake of finishing our education? What will be future advantages?

Subsequent to finishing school students go to the distinctive instructing classes and preparing focus. At the season of preparing, you ought to know about things. To start with the thing is from where you are taking preparing is that pertinent to your training. What have courses you experienced will increase the value of your education? When making a career it's imperative to have essential learning of your education. Fundamental originates from your preparation, your schools and so forth. How to Learn Any Subject?

Learning is such a critical aspect of one's life. In essence life is a major school. At every stage of life, from birth to adulthood, learning takes place in various modalities. There is a difference though between structured or formal learning and what I call "fun learning" or passive learning. For example, the type of learning that takes place when one is reading an enjoyable text or watching a favorite movie or documentary. This is not to mitigate the value of this type of learning but to call attention to the phenomenon that usually the learning extracted is not preplanned or based on specific outcomes. Consequently, the learning opportunity may be more expendable. The keys to learning effectively are purpose, self-awareness, and organization. The precursors to this triad include the skills and background knowledge necessary to create the path for effective learning.

For our purpose here, we'll be discussing structured learning as it the most reliable and standardized. By the time a child enters kindergarten, he has already been exposed to some structured learning environment albeit without his conscious knowledge. He/she may already be using the word "school" nonchalantly. Kindergarten may even be more structured and may be categorized as "real" learning, perhaps because this is the place for the foundation of literacy skills. Most people tend to have fond memories about their experiences as a kindergartener. Thus, it qualifies the purpose aspect of effective learning. This may be a residue of the type of learning inherent in wanting to walk as a child, feed oneself, figuring out how to reach the high shelf, or tie one's shoe laces.

Purpose is synonymous with motivation in this context. The greater one's desires or goals towards achieving a certain outcome are, the greater the purpose. Purpose is the reason one is engaged in studying something in particular. Identifying the purpose may be easier if the endeavor is self-induced or voluntary. In the case of an involuntary situation, it is even more important to identify a purpose. It is effective pedagogical practice to guide young learners in a conversation about the objectives for learning about a particular topic and connect those to their previous knowledge.

First things first, knowing the purpose for doing anything is essential. This must be deliberate and intentional. We always have choices even when it seems like we don't. They may be difficult choices with pleasant or unpleasant consequences. When a learner finds himself with a prescribed course which he feels is "useless", "irrelevant " or "boring", he has the option of not taking the course or create an objective or purpose that is personally authentic and relevant to himself at the onset of the course. For example:" I don't like French. I am not good at foreign languages, but I like history." So a possible question to ask to formulate your purpose is: What is the role of France, its people and the language in the history of _____? You fill in the blank. Another point of focus could be the French language of today vs. yesterday.

Authenticity and interests are quintessential here. The learner has to take responsibility to define his own purpose for studying something based on his interests, academic and or social strengths, or just a pure desire or goal to do well. The point here is that the learner has to establish a reason for studying something, which could be as specific or as generic as he wants it. However, it must resonate with a core aspect of personality or value or both.

This brings us to the next requirement- self-awareness. The learner can use these questions as a guide: Who are you as a personality? What matters to you? What do you value? How did you learn what you learned before? What techniques did you use? Knowing "thyself" is one of the best given advices. This is a lifetime quest but we start by paying attention to ourselves and reflecting consistently. Tools such as multiple intelligence, IQ, and emotional intelligence tests can provide some insights and directions. Take responsibility for your own learning. Some environments and teaching methodologies are more optimized for learning. However, the greatest responsibility still lies with you. After the learner has satisfactorily answered the questions he has to apply the findings. For example, an extrovert needs to ask questions and engage in discussions and find alternate, lively tools to engage with the materials if the instructor doesn't provide them. An introvert may need to take copious notes and engage in discussions in small groups. This brings us to the third component of effective learning- organization.

It is the "how to" aspect of learning. There is basic organization which involves common sensible tasks such as being prepared with tools for learning, consistency of attendance, and active participation through deep listening and wholesome presence. If you are in class, just be in class. There is also a deeper level of organization required to reach the summit of Gardner's multiple intelligence theory. Effective learning is about understanding, applying, and creating with your new found knowledge. This is lowest to highest. Your knowledge of self-awareness applies in developing a personal learning plan. Only the learner can answer the questions of how he learns best. The basic premise of learning of how to complete a task eventually turns to forming automatic habits.

Mastering a skill though takes deliberate focus and intention. The rapper and producer, Maurice Young states: "To become a master at any skill, it takes the total effort of your heart, mind, and soul working together in tandem. Thus, collaboration and synergism are important. Aligning your purpose for learning plus your knowledge of self-awareness equals your method of organizing your learning plan. The learner may need a more aggressive plan for the subject in which he feels weak. A visual, auditory and a tactile learner may need different plans that are customized and personalized. This is not so much about learning in general. It is how effectively we are learning for the long-term.

As learners, we have developed habits and practices of studying that may be more or less effective, appropriate or inappropriate for certain tasks. Sometimes, they become so deeply ingrained that they have become automatic. However, how effective are they? How do they fare with your short and long term goals for studying the subject or course? Short-term goals correspond more with listening, note-taking, time management, being well versed in the requirements of the course, knowing your instructor's style of teaching and expectations. Short-term goals also have short-term gratifications. Long-term goals however are more futuristic and valuable as the actualized learning and skills acquired are beneficial to society. This is where marrying your mind as in your purpose for studying, your heart as in your core values and or your personality and your soul as in having a vision of sharing this knowledge with others can have the greatest impact on your education.

The purpose of learning is to become educated. Education is for us and others. It is a tool for the betterment of us as a society. Effective learning is learning for today and tomorrow. Companies and organizations are best led by people with diverse talents and skills such as collaboration, technical, analytical, organizational, and critical thinking. These skills can be developed with a deliberate plan to aim at the highest levels of intelligence of Bloom's taxonomy. In a nutshell, cultivating a sense of observance of self and others, having a vision and an action plan are the keys for an effective learning recipe. Two major ingredients that are required are motivation and commitment. This materializes by defining a personal authentic goal, raison d'être for studying and prioritizing goals, then breaking them down into specific tasks for maximizing time in and outside of class.

Effective learning is holistic learning. Education is like a mirror one holds up to himself and others. The better we become as learners, the more we grow and evolve. This way we are better equipped to serve our society. Learning is living. Live well and learn well!

3 Important Personal Development Aspects to Consider for Self Growth

Many people aim to make daily self growth one of their lifelong goals, because they see the need to grow in all aspects of their lives. However, what's sad is that many don't consider the 3 important personal development aspects needed for healthy self growth.

Yes, you heard me right. Self growth is important, but the aspects that you aim to grow in have to be right in order for it to be effective in your life. And I believe this is true for anyone.

So what are the 3 important personal development aspects? They are:

The First Aspect - Improving Your Self-Awareness

Self-awareness simply means being aware of yourself. That includes your strengths, flaws, gifting and more. And that comes first before the other personal development aspects because without knowing yourself fully, you won't be able to know how to proceed with your self growth plans.

The truth is, nobody knows you better than yourself, and if you're not sure about your strength, weaknesses and more, you can take a piece of paper and jot them down,

It's important you don't rush this through, because you want to make sure you got them covered as much as possible without missing them out.

Also, some people I've counselled say they don't have any strengths or gifting. I can tell you that's totally untrue. It's different for everyone, and there must be something you're better at than others.

So take your time to do this to get a clear picture of yourself. But remember, don't rush this through.

The Second Aspect - Knowing and Building Your Own Identity

Everyone is different, and each individual will only thrive if they know what they want. And knowing what you want begins with first knowing your own identity. And that's the second personal development aspect for self growth.

From my experience, I know that if you rely on other people for your identity, you'll be lost and you can't achieve proper personal growth.

Find out what makes you, you. Don't copy the way others talk and behave just because they seemed to be well liked by others. Discover how you talk and behave, and then work on improving your own identity.

I can promise you this. If you can be the best you, you will be well liked by others, despite your identity. People want to experience who you really are, and when that happens, you'll be surrounded by people who will love to hang out with you, and you'll be able to develop your character further.

How's that for self growth?

The Final Aspect - Discovering and Developing Your Talents

This final personal development aspect deals with talents that you have, not talents that others have but you don't.

Why do I say that? Because if you admire others for a talent that they have but you don't, you might be tempted to pursue that talent though you don't have it. That will sabotage your self growth, so be careful.

Everyone has a God-given talent, including you. And for you to have a healthy self growth, develop those God-given talents. You'll realize that you'll be able to develop your talents much faster and much more easily than others because it's God-given.

Sometimes, it takes a while before you discover what your talents are, so don't be afraid to try new things. You might just discover what your talents are if you choose to be open about discovering new things.

So there you have it, the 3 personal development aspects for effective self growth. Keep them in mind and remember to include them in your self growth plan for a healthy development of your life.

The Importance of Internal Motivation For Achieving Success

Most people want to achieve success in the areas of life that are important to them. Yet many never find the success that they seek, and spend their lives feeling unhappy and unfulfilled. Why is this?

One of the main reasons why some people succeed and so many don't, is that those who well do are internally motivated, whereas the others are motivated primarily by external rewards. While everybody is externally motivated to some extent, if this is your main source of motivation, you're probably setting yourself up for failure.

Internal Motivation

Internal (or intrinsic) motivation, as the name suggests, comes from within. An internally motivated person is inspired by staying true to their own core values, and doing the things which they love the most. When you're doing the things that you enjoy, for reasons which resonate with your authentic self, it's easy to remain motivated, and little willpower is needed to take the actions that are necessary to achieve your goals.

External Motivation

External motivation, on the other hand, comes from an outside the self. It includes things like money, recognition from other people, prizes, trophies and awards etc. While all of these things are nice, the problem with relying on them as your main source of motivation is that for the most part, the sense of fulfilment they provide is temporary. If you're going down a path that's not in alignment with your real goals, just because you want the rewards that you think it'll give you, you may find that these rewards aren't worth very much once you get them. At this point, your motivation to continue will suffer drastically, if the goal isn't something that you're also interested in for its own sake.

The Path To Success

For this reason, it's important to set goals that are fully aligned with your real, inner motivations. If you should happen to receive external rewards for doing well in your chosen field, then that's a bonus, but really it's just the icing on the cake. Remember that life isn't meant to be a struggle, and success doesn't have to be difficult to achieve. In fact, the path to success is much easier when it's a path that you're motivated to travel for its own sake, as you don't have to constantly force yourself to keep going by focusing on the end result, and you'll enjoy the journey as well is the destination. And that's not to be underestimated, since the majority of our lives are spent in the 'journey' phase, and it'd be a shame if you spent most of your time focusing on being somewhere else.

What If Your Motivation Is Blocked?

As we noted, internal motivation springs from within. Sometimes however, people have picked up negative beliefs that lead to self-sabotaging behaviours which stop them from taking the path they really want to take. This can lead to feelings of 'blockage' and procrastinating over even the things you want to do. Feeling a strong desire to do something, yet not allowing yourself to go there is an unpleasant experience, to say the least. In this case, using a brainwave entrainment recording can be of value, as such a recording makes it much easier to achieve a profound sense of relaxation, and to access the subconscious mind, where such self-limiting beliefs are stored.

By taking some time each day to listen to your recording, and to focus on how you'd like your life to be, it becomes easier to allow these old blocks to dissolve, and to let your natural sense of internal motivation to flow freely once again.

If you decide to use a brainwave entrainment technologies such as isochronic tones to boost your internal motivation, I suggest checking out the excellent 'Motivation' track that's available from The Unexplainable Store. This is a great quality site, and all products are fully guaranteed. There are also some great free downloads available, so be sure to check those out while you're over there.

Some of the more altruistic elements of personal development have Parallels with some of the world's spiritual tradition. A good example would be, The Eightfold Path of Buddhism which focus on the development of skills such as:

  • Right View
  • Right Intention
  • Right Speech
  • Right Action
  • Right Livelihood
  • Right Effort
  • Right Mindfulness
  • Right Concentration
  • Check out the Parallels

Right View this can be a likened to, open mindedness, beliefs, continual learning of techniques or methods to expand awareness, thoughtfulness.

Right Intention this can be a likened to defining of one's values or the effort to develop mutually beneficial relationships for the general and greater good.

Right Intentions form a personal development point of view this can be seen as increasing your awareness of your actions and adjusting them for the greater good.

Right Speech, from a personal development view this would be Communication skills. Communications skills may also include your internal dialogue as in positive speech.

Right Action, this can be seen as exercising consideration, personal integrity, exercising wisdom.

Right Livelihood, this would have a relation to lifestyle as I'm enhancing one's quality of life, career, and working in an ethical line of employment etc.

Right Effort, this would relate to discipline commitment
determination persistence.

Right Mindfulness, can be a likened to thoughtfulness consideration...

... And finally

Right Concentration, can be a likened to clarity, focus, exercising discipline of thoughts.

So where do you start? And what does it take?

Define an area of life you would like to work on...

1 create a vision
2 make a plan
3 action your plan

Commit to daily actions targeted towards change

Find a system or programme to facilitate your growth, in some cases this may mean reading the related material, books, websites blogs, in other cases this my mean joining the related clubs or taking courses etc. The main point is to develop a self image complementary to your goal/vision.

Their are no instant solutions, quick fixes or magic formulas to personal development - personal growth other then an awareness for the need for personal growth and the desire to grow. Granted that the two above conditions are meet - an awareness of the need for personal growth - and the desire to grow, you will be able to find success with the following tools:
  • Commitment,
  • Discipline,
  • persistence
  • inquisitiveness
These tools will make a nice starter in your chosen area of personal development/growth.

"The Creative Power within us makes us into the image of that to which we give our attention."

Wallace Delois Wattles

Here are two typical examples of a personal development exercise:
Example one

Renewing self images

First in order to realise success in you chosen area of personal development / growth. You need to do two things invest some time to identify and define an area you would like to develop ie you want a promotion

Developing an image of yourself in your finish or ideal state/position -

What you're going to look like

How are you going to feel?

How will you be acting?
Develop you're new self image daily
Example two

The following is an extract from Napoleon hill think and grow rich, Hill is describing the six steps needed to develop what he calls the burning desire needed to drive a person to the accomplishment of their goals. In this example the steps relate to money but with creative editing this formula can be applied to any area of goal attainment.

"First. Fix in your mind the exact amount of money you desire. It is not sufficient merely to say, "I want plenty of money." Be definite as to the amount. (There is a psychological reason for definiteness, which will be described in a subsequent chapter). See book Think and grow rich napoleon Hill

Second. Determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the money you desire. (There is no such reality as "something for nothing.)

Third. Establish a definite date when you intend to possess the money you desire.

Fourth. Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once, whether you are ready or not to put this plan into action.

Fifth. Write out a clear, concise statement of the amount of money you intend to acquire, name the time limit for its acquisition, state what you intend to give in return for the money, and describe clearly the plan through which you intend to accumulate it.

Sixth
. Read your written statement aloud, twice daily, once just before retiring at night, and once after arising in the morning.

Napoleon Hill's 13 Success Principles are;

Desire, Faith, Auto-Suggestion, Specialized Knowledge, Imagination, Organised Planning, Decision, Persistence, the Master Mind, Transmutation, the Subconscious Mind, the Brain and the Sixth Sense

Think and grow rich by Napoleon Hill is a must have work -Think and grow rich is over flowing with valuable knowledge

"All that man achieves and all that he fails to achieve is the direct result of his own thougths."

10 Must Know's Before You Write An Ebook

Below to will see ten rules you should implement before you attempt to write your own ebook.

Rule Number 1, You must have a good knowledge of your ebook subject. It is better to write an ebook about a subject you have a wide knowledge of. If you attempt to write an ebook when you have very little knowledge of the contents, your ebook will fail.

Rule Number 2, Ensure you know your subject inside and out! Remember the Internet has a wealth of information so research your chosen subject thoroughly.

Rule Number 3, What is the main goal of your ebook? What is your sole purpose for writing this ebook? Is it to sell thousands of copies? Will the ebook be a source of driving traffic to your website? Or, are you will the ebook be utilised for gaining subscribers?

Its important to focus entirely your main goal for this ebook. Do not deviate from this goal, If you try to use your ebook to achieve too many goals then it will achieve none of the goals. If you find that your ebook has more than one goal or purpose, split the content and write several ebooks instead.

Rule Number 4, What will be your ebook title? If you have an ebook title in mind, put it aside for a moment and come up with at least another 5 possible titles for your ebook. Now look at your list of possible titles and choose the title that has the best call to action. Call to action title words can be Stop, Now, Discover, Imagine and so on.

Rule Number 5, What graphics will be included with your ebook? When writing a how to ebook guide are you intending to use screen-shots to make the ebook easier to understand. If your ebook will be on the subject of cooking will you be including pictures of completed food dishes? Its a proven technique that when writing an ebook too much text can bore the reader. Use images to break it up the monotony. Its also important to think of your ebook ecover image, I highly recommend you get a professional ecover design to put the finishing touches to your new ebook.

Rule Number 6, What rights will you offer with your ebook? Ebooks now come with "rights" these can be in the form of Resell, Private Label, Free and Giveaway rights. Resell/Resale rights allow the ebook seller to resell the ebook, but the resell rights do not transfer to the buyer. Your ebook contents cannot be changed or copied. Master Resell Rights allow both the seller and buyer to resell the ebook. Again, the ebook must not be copied or changed in anyway. Private Label Rights allow the buyer to brand your ebook themselves and claim to be the author. If you allow "Unrestricted" Private Label Rights then the buyer can also sell your ebook with private label rights. Giveaway Rights are as stated the ebook must be given away and not sold.

There are advantages to allowing your ebook to be resold. Your ebook can become "viral" which means the more times your ebook gets sold, the more your links in your ebook will be seen.

Rule Number 7, How much are you going to charge for your ebook? Puting a price on your ebook can be a tough choice. You have to find a happy medium. Study similar content ebooks and observe the prices they are selling for. You could buy copies of competitors ebooks and compare their contents with your ebook. Another option is to offer your subscribers your ebook at different prices, then ask purchasers their opinion on your ebook with regard to value for money.

Rule Number 8, What format will your ebook be available in? The main two formats ebooks are currently available in are compiler software and adobe pdf format.

Using ebook compiler software can exclude many buyers who are wary of spyware/viruses contained in an executionable program, and MAC PC users cannot access ebooks compiled in executionable format.

Adobe Acrobat PDF format is installed on many new computers so readily available for buyers to read your ebook, and Adobe also provide a free download for Adobe PDF Reader.

Rule Number 9, Will you include web links in your ebook? When you are writing your ebook you should include your website url at the end, if the reader enjoyed your ebook they may want to visit your website. You may also included affiliate links if you feel they will benefit the reader.

Rule Number 10, How will you promote your ebook? You will need to devise a marketing plan for your ebook's release. You could give away free copies or leak a free chapter from your ebook. Why not use Press Release websites to announce the impending launch of your ebook.

If you use implement these 10 rules, you should have the basis for writing a great ebook.

A Guide To Getting The Most Out Of Network Marketing

With the economy the way it is right now, it makes more sense to work from your home, rather than searching for a second job. Although operating a small business can be difficult, network marketing offers the potential to earn extra money, connect with other people and improve your quality of life. This article includes powerful tips on starting and succeeding in this business.

Go into network marketing with an understanding that you are going to be extraordinarily busy for a while. You are starting this out alone, and you are going to have to allocate as much time as possible to get it off the ground in the early days and beyond. The time you put into it will pay off in the end so think of these hours as an investment in your future.

A new opportunity will always be more lucrative than a long-standing one, but the older one will be more stable and likely to stick around. You have to judge each opportunity as it comes along on whether or not it's financially viable, and what it's current reputation is, before you decide to join.

As it is with life in general, having a positive attitude towards your business will help it become a success. While you may have obstacles and problems along the way you should continue along because these setbacks, and how you deal with them, will help guide you towards your future success.

In the business of network marketing, it is extremely important that you have a lot of integrity. This is a legitimate business with the potential to make you a lot of money, so being a wise-guy and a dunderhead will ensure that no one wants to be on your team. They'll find a better leader out there.

When picking strategies for your business, don't negate anything that sounds kooky or "new age". For example, putting your hopes and dreams out to the universe will help you focus on what targets you wish to hit, giving you a clear goal.

Doing this daily will remind you of what you want to achieve.
When starting a network marketing strategy, you must figure out what your driving motivation is. Is it how much profit you want to make? Is it an item you'd like to buy or maybe, it's success based on the number of profit-earning people you have in your downline?

Sometimes, helping others is the greatest benefit of all.

Take your business online. Many people are not setting up an online marketing system, and this is hurting them badly. An easy way to set your business apart from others is to jump into the online world, where you can (with a little hard work) generate more leads than you know what to do with.

Network marketing can help large corporations get their audience via your network as a home business owner. Apply the tips from this article to get started as an independent agent and find success with network marketing.
